Welcome to our Class Web Page. My name is Mrs Breaks and I am happy to be the Class teacher in 2V. We are lucky to have Mrs Harvey supporting our lovely children each day. Miss Clay also teaches for one morning a week. We all have fun learning together in class. We work hard, play and enjoy finding out new things together everyday.

Class 2V All Ready to Learn

Super Attendance !

Well done to class 2V for winning the first two weeks of attendance in a row.

The children win the chance to roll the dice for the Classopoly board. So far they have won a baking session and a mini disco, and better still, by being good attenders, they are keeping right up with their learning.

After  their super work today, the class deserved a little treat.

Investigating Shadows

As part of our Science Topic on Seasonal Changes, we are investigating different weather features. The children loved finding out about shadows, why they form. why they sometimes 'disappear' and why they all point in the same direction.

Great fun was had drawing around a friend's shadow and trying to 'run away from' their shadow.

The children were still excited about shadows when it came to the written report of what they had found out. Some fantastic reports were produced by the class. I think we have a few budding Scientists !
