WELCOME TO 3S-Autumn 2013
Hello and a very warm welcome to the new school year. After meeting my new class I am really looking forward to the term ahead. We have lots to look forward to as we discover how people lived during the Stone Age and explore electricity. During P.E. we will be learning how to work together to solve problems.
Things to remember:
Please bring your book in every day (We will be using it during Guided Reading)
Remember your P.E. kit on a Monday
Homework and spellings are given out on a Friday.

Coming up to Xmas
Welcome back to school. This term we have lots to look forward to. We will be learning all about the body and learning about the Celts. We will also be reading the story about Henry the incredible book eating boy and writing stories based on this.
Remember to bring your. PE kit on Monday and try to bring in your reading book every day.

Welcome back
Hello and welcome back. This term we will be learning about all things Egyptian. We will make information books through research and display these so that everyone can read them. We will also be doing a lot of art work based on the Egyptian theme as well as learning to dance the Egyptian way!

Book week
We had a super time at the end of last term celebrating children's book week. We did lots of activities about Dr Seuss and read lots of his books. We made hats in the style of the Cat in the Hat and made Lorax masks. To find out more about Dr Seuss and his characters take a look at the website www.seussville.com.
We have lots to look forward to next term when we will base lots of our activities from the book Flat Stanley.
Space Day
We had great day last Wednesday celebrating the start of Space week with our very own Space Day. Our class took part in lots of activities and made some fantastic pictures which are now on display in the classroom. We even made up a rhyme which helps us to remember the planets in order from the sun. Maybe it will help you too-so here goes!

WELCOME TO MRS SPENCER'S WEB PAGE
Hello and welcome back to a brand new term. It's been lovely meeting my new class and hope that we can have lots of fun and learn lots of new things over the next few weeks. During this term we will be exploring all things 'Space' related.
Here are a few things you need to be aware of:
1. Homework and spellings are given out most Fridays.
2. Reading books need to be taken home each night and returned the following day.
3. P.E. lessons take place on a Monday afternoon.
4. Our recorders lesson takes place on a Thursday afternoon.
