WE HAVE CHICKENS! 

After lots of careful planning our Headteacher finally decided to buy us chickens. We have 4 lovely chickens that have their own area on our playground to roam freely. When supervised, the children are able to play and explore in this area with the chickens. We took our Reception children up and what fun we had! Some of the chickens were very cheeky and tried to peck our shoes, but we were really brave as this didn't hurt.

Winter walk 

As we are now in the season of Winter, we decided to take the children on a winter walk to see what signs of winter we could find. The children noticed how cold it was so we needed to wrap up. They noticed frost on the floor and the trees had no leaves. We suggested making a winter tree picture. The children were tasked with collecting twigs so that we could make a winter tree back in the classroom. What a super job they did!
