Here you will find details of the subjects we teach in school, the topic areas covered and how we teach those subjects.

Below is a Curriculum Statement which has been redrafted following staff consultation to review the aims of our new curriculum.

Over the academic year 2021/22 all staff worked to create a new ambitious curriculum for children which promoted knowledge and skills based on the National Curriculum, but also had a strong focus on enriching children's life experiences, helping them to become independent learners, find their talents and understand how they can shape their own futures.

In September 2022 we started to follow our new curriculum on cycle 'A', details of which can be found in curriculum overview document below.

The roll out of the new curriculum was monitored throughout the academic year 2022/23 and was revised, changing any aspects, where necessary.

September 2023 started cycle B of the new curriculum which again will be monitored and amended where required. Details of cycle B can be found in curriculum overview document below.
