Our school policy in line with Lancashire County Council regulations is that school is not allowed to administer any medicines to children, unless prescribed by a doctor.
If you are bringing medicine into school, prescribed by either the doctor or the hospital, then please bring it to the school office and fill in the required paperwork. All medicines are kept in the office under supervision and must have the child's name and address written on as prescribed by either a Doctor or the hospital. A record will be kept of any medication your child has been given in school which is now put onto our new web based system 'Medical tracker'
Could we please ask parents to keep us informed of up to date contact numbers and email addresses as it can be quite distressing for a child if they become ill at school and we are unable to contact anyone for them.
