Early Help Offer
At Padiham Primary School, we are committed to supporting children and families as soon as challenges arise. Early Help means providing quick, practical support to prevent worries from becoming bigger problems.
What We Do
We offer:
- Pastoral and emotional wellbeing support, including nurture groups and support via external services such as MHST, ELCAS, Barnardos, CANW.
- Attendance support and advice, including meetings with parents
- Behaviour strategies
- Learning interventions and small‑group support
- Help for parents in accessing financial, housing or mental health support
- Parenting advice and signposting to courses (e.g., Triple P, New Era, Riding the Rapids)
Working With Other Services
When needed, we work with professionals such as:
- School Health
- New Era Enterprises
- Homestart
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Mental Health Support Team
- Family Hubs and community services
- Housing Associations
With your consent, we can also complete an Early Help Assessment (EHA) and coordinate Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.

Parents and carers can contact:
