1/2B
Welcome to 1/2B's Webpage.
Hello.
My name is Mrs Barford and I am the lucky teacher of class 1/2B. In our class we have children from both Year 1 and Year 2, and we aim to have a fun, happy time making new friends and learning lots of new skills and information across the year. Myself, Mrs Huyton and Miss McKenna are very excited to join the children on their learning journey this year. Miss Fort will also teach some lessons during the week.

Useful information
Our class P.E day is Wednesday. Children should keep their kit at school in a named bag. It would help if ear-rings were left at home on this day or plasters were used to cover them.
Reading books will be brought home regularly to enjoy and practise at home. Please hear your child read at often as possible, as those who read at home make much faster progress across the curriculum.
Spelling homework will be sent home each Friday. Your child will have a little test on these words the following Friday.
Water bottles can be brought to school each day. Please ensure they are labelled with names.
Could you please ensure all items of clothing are labelled with your child's name. Children can get very upset if they cannot identify their own things.
Keep checking this webpage and Class Dojo as it will be updated regularly with news of what we have been up to in class.
Thank you :)
