Our first week of the Spring term has seen all the children taking part in environmental education activities during our Eco Week. The School Council held a competition to challenge the children to make something useful by re-using 'rubbish'. There were lots of brilliant ideas, from plant pots and sock puppets to money boxes. Well done to Ella and Connor who won the prizes for their bird feeder and Bat Cave. Next week Year's 5 and 6 will continue their Eco journey by visiting Global Renewables in Preston, which is where all the bin lorries in Lancashire take our household rubbish to be processed.
