Good morning.
As you may know all statutory assessment tests for primary school children will go ahead this year for the first time since 2019. Please see the following information to find out if and when you child will be involved in the statutory tests.
Statutory Tests
Year 6 SATs start the week beginning 9th of May.
Year 2 SATs start the week beginning 16th of May
Year 1 Phonics Screening Check starts the week beginning 6th June.
Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check starts the week beginning 13th of June.
If you have a child in any of the above year groups it is very important that they attend school in the allocated weeks and are in school on time as some assessments start first thing in the morning. Please note that as these are statutory assessments school can not change the dates in which the tests have to be administered.
Other year groups
Children in other year groups throughout school will also complete end of year assessments within school at various times. School can be more flexible in the administration of these tests.
