All children from Year 2 upwards have a  Reading Journal to complete. They can then choose a fun activity from a bank of ideas to complete for every 5th book read.  

 

Actiivties include - designing a new book cover, drawing the story as a cartoon strip, designing a Quiz about the book to test their friends, writing a different ending for the story, writing a newspaper report about something in the story.

 

There are lots of different and enjoyable activities to choose from which will help develop their understanding of the stories they have read.
