Welcome back

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the new school year. We have a very busy and fun year ahead of us, beginning with a unit of work called 'Earthlings'. In Literacy, we will be looking at Science fiction stories, non-fiction texts about space and poems with a structure. Our science topic is the Earth, Sun and moon. Our music focuses on theme music and in art we will be looking at various work by famous artists.

 

PE will still be on a Tuesday afternoon - so everyone needs to make sure that they have their PE kits in school!

 

There will be a spelling & mental maths test every Friday - new spellings will be sent home on a Monday.

 

If you have any questions please feel free to come and see me in class before or after school and remember to check the website regularly for further information and photographs.
