  Good morning. Hopefully this message sees you all fit and well. The news of a possible return to school on 1st June for Reception, year 1 and year 6 children has left more questions than answers. We will see how things progress over the week as so much is subject to change. We will be working to see how, if necessary, we as a school can effectively open and cater for this and make sure that everyone is safe. 

  We are currently only open to Key workers and vulnerable children and not anyone that may have been told that they can go back to work today unless they are on the original list. The safest place for your child is at home. As we find out more we will let you know. For now, please take care and look after yourself.

  Please keep an eye on your childs web page. Staff are busily updating work for you to do at home with your child on a weekly basis, alongside the online platforms that we use. If you have any problems then please contact school via phone or the contact page on this website. 

  I hope that we will be able to get back to some sort of normality sooner rather than later but the truth is no-one knows. As soon as we are aware of anything then we will let you know.

  Is your child starting their Shuttleworth journey in September?  This is a message from Shuttleworth staff. We are very excited to welcome our new children!  We can’t invite them into school just yet but we have worked hard on a transition package to help you all feel like part of the Shuttleworth family this summer. We know the current situation is hard for Y6 students and families so we will be sharing video tours, family & student guides and some exciting projects for Y6s to take part in.  Look out for a video from Mrs England - coming soon!  If you haven’t returned your new starter pack then please pop it in the post to Shuttleworth (extra copies are being posted out).  Take care!
