As you will know school is now closed and we will be learning together remotely. I will upload daily tasks both here and on our Dojo page. Please ensure that you engage as much as possible and work as hard as you do when we are together in school.

I would love to see your work, you can email it to me on our class email -padiham4c@padiham.lancs.sch.uk or post it on your portfolio on Dojo, I will comment on your wonderful work and give you any help that you might need. Mr Mayers may also look at your work on Dojo and add a comment so please keep your eye out. 

I have added a timetable below of the tasks that you should expect to receive each day, you do not have to complete your work in this order however, it will help to give some structure to you day. 

Please don't forget to ask for help if you need it.

Watch the video and try to remember what feelings the colours represent. 
Can you then create a piece of art work for one of the feelings. Maybe you could create a colour for a feeling you have?
I liked yellow for happiness. I would add on pictures of pineapples, they are my favourite fruit and make me feel happy. I would also add on pictures of the beach - I always feel really happy when I am at the beach. 
I will look forward to seeing some of your beautiful creations.

Task 3 - English - At 09:45 Jane Considine will be completing live English lessons. This week she will be working with you using the story The Secret of Black Rock. I have attached a powerpoint of the story. Although she will read it with you, you may want to read it first. Please engage in these lessons each day. Task 1 - TT Rockstars - practicing the three times tables. 

 

Task 2 - Spelling shed -  adding a suffix ly to adjectives. 

 

Task 3 - Guided Reading - recycling comprehension.

 

Task 4 - Maths - multiply and divide by six. Please see the video link below to help you with this work.

 

Task 5 - English - improving adjectives. Change the adjectives in each sentence that are written in bold and make them a more interesting powerful adjectives? E.g. nice chair could be magnificent chair/antique chair/old wooden chair.

 

Task 6 - Science - Draw at least 5 recyclable items from each room in your house in the boxes in the appropriate places. 

 

PE Challenge - Next week we will be completing PE on a Monday. However, I have a little task for you that you can complete either today or tomorrow that you can do at a little 'brain break'.
